Ministry of Tomorrow

The Ministry of Tomorrow is a social enterprise based in Los Angeles with its flagship vegan bag factory located in Nairobi, minutes outside of Kibera. In 2019, Chema school was struggling financially and risked being closed after the Kenyan government issued a directive compelling all learning institutions considered unsafe to be closed. Chema did not have the resources to upgrade to a better facility, leaving 155 children with no school. Thanks to the Ministry of Tomorrow, funds were mobilized through different networks which helped reopen the school in a safer location in Nairobi. The Ministry of Tomorrow together with other celebrities was able to raise enough funds for Chema to open the school in a new and safe location as well as covering the running costs of the school.
